Our Cats

Buddy

Meet Buddy...The star of the show.  Buddy will usually be up front to greet you when you come in. Everybody loves his lazy demeanor, but don't be fooled... He will run off at high speed if he hears a bag of food being opened. (Especially his favorite food, NF diet.)

            Lumpy

Lumpy was brought into the emergency room for multiple hernias, possibly from being hit by a car.Dr. Bailey brought him back to our hospital because Lumpy was such a sweetie!  You won't see him out much during the day as he prefers to sleep under the table in the x-ray room.  He is easily lured out into the open though if you're trying to fold warm towels out of the laundry!

C.B.ette (in spirit)

C.B.ette.  That is "Cry Baby" ette.  Named after one of our technician's cats, her name did not really fit her personality.  She mostly hid during the day, but ioved our clients.  CB was brought to us as a feral kitten and made her home here after she fell in love with Lumpy.  They were the best of friends.  Unfortunately, we lost CB this year to stomach cancer, but we will remember her fondly  :)

Ginger

Ginger is a shy girl who likes to sleep in her own special chair up front.  The other kitties pick on her sometimes (Because she's beautiful of course!)  Ginger used to be the house cat at the emergency clinic, however she seems to prefer us!  She also prefers if you share your turkey sandwiches with her at lunch.  Don't leave your coat sitting around, or she may claim it for her bed for the day

Mellow Yellow

Mellow Yellow is the newest member to move in.  As with CB, her name doesn't adequately describe her personality.  While she can be mellow and hog the cat tree up front, she also has fits of energy and will tear about the hospital with her tail poofed out.  Mellow is very sensitive to other cats' moods and will let you know if anyone needs some extra care!
